**POOL OPENS 7TH JUNE 2025 **

GROUND FLOOR (U.S. First Floor):

Hand-made fully fitted kitchen and dining area equipped with everything to make your stay feel like a home from home with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster etc. Coffee and tea are provided, plus basic condiments.

Lounge with twin sofas, English Freeview Satellite TV (or French channels if you prefer), flat screen television and dual aspect windows overlooking the local Petanque (boules) courts.

Ground floor cloakroom WC.

The flooring throughout is a mixture of beautiful chestnut and antique pine. 

FIRST FLOOR (U.S. Second Floor):

Master bedroom with king size 160cm bed and a beautiful en-suite bathroom (shower, hand basin, WC).

On the opposite side of the landing is a twin bedroom with dual aspect windows (if required, we can put an additional single fold away guest bed in to accommodate 3 people in this room - by request), ideal for family house sharing (please note, this bedroom does not have its own, private en-suite bathroom).

SECOND/TOP FLOOR (U.S. Third Floor):

Bedroom in the eaves (with reduced door height). This bed can be made up as a single or king size (160cm) depending on your requirements which you can specify at the time of booking.

Full sized family bathroom complete with bath, shower, WC, hand basin.

Please note that the entrance doorways into the bedroom and bathroom on this floor are of a reduced height however the rooms themselves are of normal height and are not impacted.

GARDEN: **POOL OPENS 7TH JUNE 2025 **

Private heated above-ground 5.5m x 3.5m pool (heated by air source heat pump) open from 7th June through to September with wrap around south facing sun terraces and a canopy over the rear patio terrace to shelter you from the midday sun. Our pool season may possibly extend into October depending on late summer temperatures.

The private garden has several mature trees and shrubs and a small lawn area. There are lovely flowering Mock Orange trees which arch over the gravel path leading up to the house and a beautiful rambling wisteria leads from the house to the pool area. We have six comfortable sun loungers on the decking areas by the pool, with two large sun shades if required. Pool towels are provided when the pool is in use.

You can choose to sit in the sunshine on the front terrace whilst enjoying watching the locals play Petanque (boules) or you can dine comfortably in the shade on the covered rear terrace where a BBQ is provided.

We have created a lovely, comfortable private home from which you can stroll to Sarlat's gourmet restaurants and attractions. The nearest restaurant is a 5 minute walk and Sarlat's many gastronomic restaurants are only a 10 minute walk, which means you can enjoy a few glasses of wine with your meals out without having to worry about driving. It's worth noting that taxis in this region are not commonplace, they are expensive and must be ordered in advance.
